SIMLLABS / PRIVACY
Privacy & cookies.

This page describes how the SimLLabs website handles information when you visit or contact the lab.
Information you share
The collaboration form collects your name, email address, area of interest, message, and an optional PDF brief. We use this information to review your inquiry and respond. Please do not include sensitive personal information or confidential material you are not authorized to share.
Storage and service providers
The website runs on Vercel. Inquiries are stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database. PDF briefs are stored in private Vercel Blob storage and are not exposed through public download links on this website. Authorized project administrators can access inquiries and attachments for handling your request.
Optional analytics
When analytics are enabled, AIMLCommand records random visitor and session identifiers, page views, selected button interactions, scroll milestones, time on page, referring domains, approved campaign labels, device category, and country when available. It does not record form contents, keystrokes, or full query strings. These events are stored in the SimLLabs tables in Neon; this implementation does not send them to a separate AIMLCommand website.
Under the same preference, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure website usage and performance. Query strings and URL fragments are removed before sending these events. Analytics stay off when your browser sends a recognized Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Your choices
Analytics are enabled by default unless you have previously opted out or your browser sends a recognized privacy signal. Choose “Essential only” to turn analytics off. Use “Cookie settings” in the bottom corner at any time to change your preference. Your preference and, while analytics are enabled, random visitor and session IDs are stored in browser storage. Opting out stops future collection and removes those local identifiers, but does not automatically remove previously stored events.
Security and retention
To limit abuse, the server temporarily processes network information and stores a keyed hash for rate limiting. We do not store raw IP addresses in the AIMLCommand tables. Hosting providers may process technical request logs as part of operating the site. Records are retained for inquiry handling, website analysis, and security, with deletion managed by the lab.
Questions or deletion requests
Use the collaboration form, select “Something else,” and describe your privacy request. Include the email address used for your inquiry so we can locate the relevant record.
